Butterfly and Insect Discovery Walk
July 31 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Join us to explore the beautiful world of butterflies and other grassland insects! Take a walk through a reconstructed prairie that provides prime habitat for a diverse mix of insects with expert Jim Schwiebert as your guide.
Learn about host and nectar plants. Hear about the challenges pollinators and insect populations are facing, and how land protection can be part of the solution. This hike will take place at a property in eastern Eau Claire County that is protected through a conservation easement with Landmark Conservancy.
Jim Schwiebert is a Beaver Creek Reserve Naturalist.
