Event Description:
Landmark Conservancy and the Midwest Institute for Scandinavian Culture would like to gather to celebrate the permanent protection of the 69-acre Elk Creek Bottoms Preserve!
Please join us for light refreshments and a short program at 5:30 p.m. Take a walk through the property to enjoy the trails, lower Elk Creek, and the scenic overlook of the Chippewa River. A guided hike will be optional after the program.
Elk Creek Bottoms Preserve is located about 5 miles from the Eau Claire city limits and just over the county line into Dunn County.
The property was permanently protected in December 2022. Learn more about this conservation project here.
