Fall Discovery Hike at Telemark Forest Preserve

Event Description:
Join Landmark conservation staff for a moderate autumnal hike through the Telemark Forest Preserve! We’ll discuss the varied geology and forest habitats found on the property, as we look for wildlife, fungi, and anything else we come across. We’ll talk about Landmark’s management of the preserve and recreational opportunities. Most importantly, we’ll enjoy each other’s company in nature on a fall day!
Location: Telemark Forest Preserve, Cable, WI. Meet at North End Trailhead in Cable.
Hike Length: Approximately 3 miles
What to bring: Dress appropriately for the weather. Wear sturdy shoes with ankle support and bring insect and sun protection. Bring water and snacks along with a camera to capture the fall colors!
Amenities: Pit toilet at the trailhead.
