Event Description: Join us to help restore the forest by removing invasive garlic mustard at Keil Birch Creek Preserve. Beautiful spring wildflowers will likely be blooming for us to enjoy! Bags for garlic mustard will be provided. No previous experience required. Identification and removal technique will be covered at the beginning. The workday will be held if there is light rain but will be rescheduled if it is pouring rain or thunderstorms. In the case of cancellation, it will be posted on Landmark’s Facebook page.
Location: Keil Birch Creek Preserve in Menomonie, WI
What to bring: Dress for the weather in clothes that can get dirty and please bring work gloves if you like to use them (optional). If you like to use a dandelion digger for this task, please bring it.
