Invasive Species Workday at Elk Creek Bottoms

Event Description:

Join us for this invasive species workday at Elk Creek Bottoms, Landmark’s newest preserve located at the confluence of Elk Creek and the Chippewa River. Work will include cutting and treating invasive buckthorn and honeysuckle using hand saws and loppers.

Location:Elk Creek Bottoms, eastern Dunn County, WI. 

What to bring:  Tools will be provided and volunteers will be trained on site. Please bring water, gloves, wear work clothes, close-toed shoes, and dress in layers. Option to bring a lunch and stay after the workday to eat and hike.

Amenities: No bathrooms are available on site. We love our furry friends, but please leave your pets at home.
