Meridean Barrens Volunteer Workday

Event Description: Spend the morning cutting and burning brush on the Meridean Barrens property with the DNR State Natural Areas Crew! This work helps to open up the site to more sunlight so the diverse mix of native prairie plants can thrive!
Location: Meet at the Tyrone Overlook in Mondovi, WI
What to bring: Wear waterproof boots, dress appropriately for the weather and wear layers. Bring water and snacks. No bathrooms except the great outdoors!
