Nordic Ski and Snowshoe at Lincoln Community Forest
February 10, 2024 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Due to lack of snow, the ski and snowshoe event has turned into a hike!
Event Description:
Join Landmark Conservancy staff and the Friends of Lincoln Community Forest for a fun afternoon of recreation! Come explore the 5 miles of trails at the Lincoln Community Forest. Participants can explore on their own or join a group on a guided hike. Guided trips will be less than 3 miles.
Location: Meet at the main trailhead at Lincoln Community Forest
What to bring: Dress appropriately for the weather. Bring snacks and a water bottle. Trails might be icy, so we recommend bringing traction devices for your boots – like Yak Trax, snowshoes with crampons, and hiking poles.
Hike: 2-5 miles
Amenities: No restrooms will be available on site.
