Naturalist Emily Stone will be your guide for this easy snowshoe adventure on the trails behind the library. Learn about the winter tree ID, animal tracking, birds, and anything else you’re curious about! Staff from the Library and Landmark Conservancy will share the story of how these 16 acres were protected in perpetuity and about land protection efforts in the greater area. In the case of insufficient snow, this will be a winter hike. Meet at 10:30 a.m. in front of the library. Dress for the weather. Reserve your snowshoes during registration. This event is co-hosted by Landmark Conservancy, the Cable Natural History Museum, and the Sherman & Ruth Weiss Library.
Registration: Free, but registration is required.
