Event Description:
Join Landmark Conservancy for monthly trail workdays at Tyler Forks Community Forest! Help us maintain and improve our network of hiking trails on this 590-acre forested preserve.
With its mature forests, rolling glacial topography, and miles of cold and clean rivers and streams, Tyler Forks Community Forest is truly a gem of the Northwoods. Volunteers are needed for a variety of projects, including trail building and maintenance, as well as construction of new boardwalks, bridges, and stairs.
Recurring Event: This event is scheduled monthly, 10am-3pm, on the last Wednesday of the month from April to October.
Location: Tyler Forks Community Forest in Mellen, WI
Hike Length: Upwards of 3-4 miles, depending on location of planned activities.
What to bring: Please bring work gloves and wear clothing appropriate for the weather. Bring a lunch if you are able to spend the full day.
Amenities: Water and light snacks. We will have a limited supply of tools, work gloves, and safety gear. No bathroom on site.
