Volunteers Needed! Candlelight Event on the Red Cedar State Trail

Event Description:
Landmark Conservancy is helping recruit volunteers for the magical annual Candlelight Event organized by The Friends of the Red Cedar State Trail and Hoffman Hills Recreation Area. Three trails will be lit for walking, snowshoeing or skiing. Snowshoes will be available to use for free. Enjoy a free warm cup of hot chocolate around one of the bonfires. It’s a fun time for the whole family to experience the joys of winter! Volunteers are needed for set up and take down of candles and luminaries.
Two volunteer shifts available:
3:45pm – 6:00 pm 10 -12 volunteers needed
8:45pm – 9:30 pm 5-6 volunteers needed.
The main candlelight event is 6:00 – 9:00 pm

What to bring: Dress to be outdoors in winter! More information will be provided in an email leading up to the event.
