Winter Hike from Copper Falls to Tyler Forks Community Forest

Event Description:
Join Landmark Conservancy staff and the Friends of Copper Falls State Park for a winter exploration hike. We’ll start our hike from the State Park’s Doughboy Trailhead and then use the newly completed connector trail to access Landmark’s Tyler Forks Community Forest. We’ll explore the forest and trails at Tyler Forks before returning to the State Park. This will be either a hike or a snowshoe hike, depending on the snowfall amounts, so please plan accordingly.
Location: Meet at main trailhead at Copper Falls State Park
What to bring: Warm clothes and boots appropriate for winter weather. Snowshoes may be necessary if snow fall is significant. Water, snacks, and extra layers.
Hike: 2-3 miles
Amenities: A bathroom is available at the parking lot at beginning and end of hike.
