Description:
Behind the Library is a 16-acre forested nature park with trails and a pond for people of all ages to explore! Benches and educational kiosks provide places to pause to enjoy nature. On the north end of the property, trail users can cross Hospital Road to continue onto the Hayward Area Memorial Hospital trail system. This nature park also has a StoryWalk® that includes stops along the trail to read pages from nature-based children’s books.

Half-mile loop trail with a pier on the pond.
