We made it! It’s November 1st, and the end of monitoring season (phew!)

We finished out the season with 22 monitoring volunteers, 7 of whom were brand new to monitoring. Collectively, those 22 volunteers monitored 75 properties (27% of the total portfolio) across 15 counties and 8,008 acres! Special kudos to one volunteer who monitored in both Buffalo and Douglas counties – that’s just about the furthest one can go within our service area!

If you weren’t able to volunteer with us this year, no worries – keep an eye on your inbox in March, when I’ll be sending out next year’s call for volunteers.

Thank you all for a successful monitoring season. I hope your winter is an enjoyable one, and that you’ll be eager to join us in monitoring again come spring!

Best,

Katie Hahn
