New Year Snowshoe Hike!

January 2 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
A group of people snowshoeing on a trail.

Event Description:

Celebrate the new year outdoors on this group snowshoe hike through the forest at the Town of Union Conservancy! When we’re done enjoying the trails, we will stay warm by the fire. If there isn’t sufficient snow to use snowshoes, this will be a winter hike.

Event Partner: Thank you to Mayo Clinic Health System for providing child and adult snowshoes at no cost to participants.

Location: Town of Union Conservancy, 1910 White Pine Drive, Eau Claire, Wisconsin 54703. Meet at the fire by the trailhead.

Although we love our furry friends, please leave your dog at home for this group event.

Accessibility: This location is not wheelchair accessible

Restrooms: There is a brand new vault toilet on site.

Physical Activity: Less than 2 miles, uneven terrain and some hills, with the option to continue on after the group outing.

What to bring: Dress in layers, warm winter clothing and footwear.

Contact Person: Sara Norman –  sara@landmarkwi.org

Three people warming around a campfire ring.

Registration: $10 per adult, $5 per child, or $20 per family. Access to outdoor recreation is core to our mission, so free attendance is available if the cost is a barrier to your participation.

Pre-registering will speed up the check-in process and ensure you receive a reminder email prior to the event.
