Volunteer Workday with the DNR: Maiden Rock Bluff SNA

September 10 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
A group of volunteers working in a golden prairie below a bright blue sky.

Event Description: Are you curious about prairie and oak savanna restoration? Join us for a rewarding volunteer workday led by the DNR. Ongoing stewardship is essential to preserving the prairies, oak savanna, and rare species that thrive at Maiden Rock Bluff. Participants will collect native prairie seed, an important step in restoring the tall grass prairie. Come lend a hand, learn about restoration, and enjoy a morning outdoors at one of Wisconsin’s most spectacular state natural areas.

No experience is necessary. DNR staff will provide on-site training, and volunteers of all skill levels are welcome.
