Pam joined the Board of Directors in 2023.
Pam worked for Xcel Energy for over 34 years and helping to protect Meridean Barrens as the Director of Sitings and Land Rights is high on her list of accomplishments. Staff at Xcel Energy worked together to improve the site, manage the land, and lead the company’s efforts to sell the site to Landmark Conservancy. Ever since, the protected property has had a special place in her heart.
“I primarily like to be by myself to experience the outdoors,” she said. “It brings a calmness to me that I really appreciate. I also like small groups, especially like-minded souls that want to hear the birds, experience the beauty of a river while paddling and spend a bit of time chatting, but not a lot!”
Pam has been on other non-profit boards—her two favorites were Beaver Creek Reserve and Wild Rivers Conservancy. Serving on the board for Landmark allows her to continue to be involved in an organization with an environmental impact. She grew up between Durand and Mondovi on the edge of the Driftless Area and thinks it’s one of the loveliest places on Earth. As a board member, she supports the organization’s efforts to help others protect their land, their ‘personal paradise.’

I worked with Pam on a Beaver Creek Reserve board years ago. She’ll be a GREAT addition to the Landmark board!!!
